We've completed all settings changes to finish out the upgrade: you may proceed to text students again via Salesforce/SMS Magic. If you notice any issues as the result, please enter a ticket with the helpdesk.
The vendor has completed their fixes, and we are now re-assigning permissions and phone numbers to individuals. We recommend waiting till using SMS Magic, however, you will be able to see texts again.
We can confirm that SMS Magic currently cannot send text messages or receive replies. The underlying issue appears to be communication from our upgraded system to SMS Magic's servers. Still no resolution time provided from the vendor, although we can confirm they are actively working on identifying the root cause.
Our vendor-managed upgrade of SMS Magic was expected to be complete prior to start of business today. We were informed this morning that the upgrade is complete, however, there are post-upgrade issues they are working to resolve. We have asked for further information on what parts of the service are operational, and for information on time until resolution.
